ALL INDIA PRE-MEDICAL PRE-DENTAL TEST AIPMT (NEET-UG) for 2015

NEET UG shall be applicable from the academic year commencing from 2015-2016.
Eligibility for Admission to MBBS: The Common Entrance Test (CET) will be held from 2013 onwards across the country.  For a candidate in order to be eligible for admission to MBBS Course for a particular academic year, it is mandatory for him/her to score minimum of marks at 50th percentile in ‘National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test’ to MBBS course held for the said academic year. However, for candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. For candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile.

The percentile would be determined on the basis of highest marks secured in the All-India common merit list in ‘National Eligibility-cum, Entrance Test for admission to MBBS course.

The Final core syllabus for NEET MBBS exam has already been released by the Medical Council of India.

It is expected that about 10 – 15 lakhs MBBS aspirants would appear the First All India Level Entrance to be conducted in 2015.
Remember now there is only a single qualifying exam for students willing to pursue a career in Medicine.

Total no. of seats across country for MBBS: 40,000*

Eligibility Criteria for Entrance:
Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English Individually. Passed 12th class examination with a minimum of 50% (General category) and 40% (Reserved category, SC, ST, OBC) 45% (candidates with locomotory disability of lower limb) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology from a recognized board before admission.

However for a candidates who has appeared for the above said examination but the result has not been declared may be provisionally permitted to take up AIPMT (NEET) UG, besides he/she fulfills the aforementioned eligibility criteria before admission to the MBBS course .

NEET UG Organizing Body: The Central Board of Secondary Education shall
be the organization to conduct National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test for admission to MBBS course.”

4. Total number of negative responses (Fewer negative responses will be placed higher in the rank)
5. Date of birth (older person will be placed higher in the rank).
